Health Informatics Graduate Certificate

The Health Informatics Graduate Certificate is a 12-credit certificate designed to instill in students the skills needed to embark on or advance a career in health informatics. The certificate program provides hands-on skills taught by industry leaders using and implementing advanced health information technology (IT). The certificate is designed to expand student understanding of privacy and security requirements, the role of standards and data exchange, and fundamentals associated with oversight of health IT systems. The certificate program provides a good pathway for students to enroll in the MSHI program with advanced standing.
