Educational Studies Minor

A minor in Educational Studies is available for undergraduates who are interested in building a foundation in education without pursuing PDE certification. Six courses are required for the minor: Some courses include field experiences in local schools that require clearances.

Substitutions may be made only with the advance approval of the Chair of the Teacher Education Department.  Except for EDU 471, undergraduates are not permitted to enroll in upper level courses (300- and 400 level) without having satisfied the basic skills requirement.
